Veranda Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Harlingen, Texas is a facility that offers short-term rehabilitation and long-term care for senior citizens of the Rio Grande Valley. For many years, the dedicated staff at Veranda Rehab & Health has served our community through their endless love, perseverance, and support for our families. During these challenging times, our community must band together to rise above the uncertainty and help each other through love and compassion.
As of June 2020, the Rio Grande Valley has experienced a surge of COVID-19 cases. Personal protective equipment is running low. Sanitation equipment is running low. Items essential to hygiene are running low. It is crucial to support the staff and residents at Veranda Rehab & Health in any way we can. Donations of any size will help prevent the spread of COVID-19 to an elderly population that is already highly at risk for contracting the virus.
Through this fundraiser, we hope to assist this facility in reinforcing their enhanced infection control methods by donating various items such as hand sanitizer, face masks, medical gowns, and gloves. All donated funds will go directly towards this goal.
During these times of uncertainty, we can be certain about at least one thing - there is a way each one of us can help. We understand that not everyone is able to donate funds at this time, but please help us by sharing this fundraiser. We must ensure the safety of our family and loved ones. It is time to take care of those who took care of us!
