Vera Pongonis with cancer medical bills

Hello... My name is Melissa Gould and I set up this fundraiser to help out my mother (Vera Pongonis). We’re do I begin She is a wonderful wife , mother, grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend to many. She cares so much for everyone, and she is always the first one to lend a hand to help someone else. So now it's our turn to help her!

These last several weeks have been so hard for her and our family. A few weeks ago she started at the hospital with an emergency appendix removal that was supposed to be 1 hour long and ended up being 6 hours, finding out that her appendix was cancerous and it had spread. In a few days we received the pathology report that she had stage 4 Signet ring cell carcinoma this is a very rare cancer and there isn’t many treatment plans. She will be going through chemo for 6 months so She isn't able to keep working... which will make it hard for her to pay her normal bills and all the new bills and medications she will be on. I know things are tough for everyone these days so any help is welcome and appreciated.

One thing I know is that this lady isn’t going without a fight. With God grace and many prayers we are praying for many more years with her here. I would like to thank all my family and friends for all your prayers, Donations and kind gestures.
