Venue upgrades to make access easier

Hi, I represent GO TO LEISURE CIO, a Charity responsible for the operation and management of Oaklands Community Pool in Lordshill, Southampton. The pool is open 7 days a week to the public with free parking on site as well as EV charging and is supported by 15+ local schools hiring for educational purposes. We have a 5 Lane main pool and sizeable learner pool available to the public. The current usage figures show 700 learners on the swim school, 2000 patrons visiting each week and 30+ community and sports hirers. We are able to offer the local and wider community access to vital sport and recreational services.

Project Description: Children and Adults with disabilities currently have use of some very outdated facilities at Oaklands Community Pool. We have a lot of essential services such as a accessible changing room, manual hoist and ambulant toilet/ shower. However, the current offering of accessible services is not very high. We are raising funds to gut, renew and upgrade the accessible changing and facility access by automating the access and egress doors to ease facility use.
