L’année 2022-2023 s’est révélée une succession de défis pour nos jeunes. Comme nous le savons tous, la grande instabilité qu’Haïti connait rend tous les déplacements fort périlleux. C’est avec un courage sans précédent que les religieuses ont maintenu le cap. Les enfants ont été nourris, ont pu retourner à l’école, ont semé et récolté dans leur grand jardin et se sont maintenus en forme grâce au coach Lorgeat qui continue de venir les entrainer à chaque semaine. Les barils se sont bien rendus au cours de la dernière année, même si nous avons dû interrompre les envois pour quelques mois à cause de la situation. Encore une fois, nous sollicitons votre appui pour que nous puissions continuer d’aider nos trente-huit timouns pour la prochaine année. Encore une fois cette année, nous enverrons l’argent recueilli directement à la communauté religieuse des Sœurs de la Charité de Saint-Louis qui délivrera des reçus officiels aux fins du calcul de l'impôt. Quand vous effectuerez un don, nous vous demanderons si vous désirez un reçu.

This year has proven to be challenging for the children. As we all know, the instability in Haiti is making transportation very difficult within the country, but the nuns stuck it out with unprecedented courage. The children were fed and able to go back to school, they planted and harvested in their big garden, and kept in shape thanks to coach Lorgeat who is still training them every week. Barrels were sent successfully over the past year, despite having to halt shipment for a few months due to the political situation. Once again, we ask for your support so that we can continue to help our 38 timouns over the next year. We will be sending the money collected directly to the religious community of the Sisters of Charity of Saint-Louis who will issue official tax receipts again this year. When you make a donation, we will ask you if you would like a receipt.
