Hey everyone,
I’m Brogan Zima — a local lass from Consett, County Durham. I fight for FFG and train alongside with Creed MMA.

I went from the streets to the ring — and I’m still fighting, just in a different way.

I’m raising money through my fight season — not for myself, but to honour my dad, Richard, who I lost to suicide, and to support men’s mental health and recovery charities such as homelessness /addiction/survivors and rehabilitation

I think it's important that our men have facilities so they are held up like they have held us up. Even the strongest most able men can be suffering by trying to hold everyone else together.

It’s when my dad has took his life I started to turn my life around.
I diddnt want to waste a gift like that anymore.
My journey’s been a hard one — I spent years on the streets, lost in trauma and poor mental health. There were times my family thought I was gone for good and this impacted so much around me .But through faith, healing, and fighting, I found my way back. It’s been one hell of a battle.
In being open and venerable in sharing abit I hope it speaks to those who are currently struggling.now, I’m boxing not just for me — but for everyone who’s fighting silent battles.
I want to show that it’s possible to rise, to rebuild, and to live with purpose again.
I’m indebted to the cause. Fighting changed my life — it gave me discipline, confidence, and hope. Teaching me to process and be present in my body and learning to cope with trauma.
Carrying weight of pain but learning to turn it into purpose and live by it without it consuming me. I train 6 days a week and compete through England boxing in amateur now.
I never once thought I'd be this far with it .
Now I want to use that fight to give back, for those who never made it and those still trying to find their way home .its so personal for me.
Know you aren’t alone and your experiences don’t define you it’s how we interact with them that can build us.

I’ll be sharing my fights, updates, and progress as I go.
It’s about proof that you can fall apart and still come back stronger — that your story can heal others too.
You can overcome anything when you adapt your mind to it truly.
I’ve known what it feels like to be lost… now I fight to help others find their way back.
Inspire others to save their life.

From broken to built, Every push, every overcoming and every strain endured every breath fought for is for my dad and for those still struggling.
Everything in me was built in the dark and there’s a lot people don’t see but that’s what will make the difference .
I’m determined not just to win but to make a statement doing so. We’re pushed in culture to be isolated weak and dependant but this is where warriors are made .
I’d like to think this helps get some people of the streets .
Now, I want to show what belief, faith, and community can do.
This isn’t about charity for me — it’s about change.
If my story helps even one person open up or choose life again, that’s the win that matters most.

Please consider supporting or sharing my GoFundMe the money will be going towards a head stone for my father who we lost 6 years ago and also the charities below .
if you care to see the change they are doing in our surrounding area :
“Day six” - a faith based charity restoring men.
“Foundation for good” - my club which are an organisation that help support people from poverty and also help alongside with learning difficulties in children and struggling families , we have a food bank and help rebuild people up.

This story is not for pity nor praise but to amplify the real grit that goes into this and to use it to do something great.
The medicine is already within us.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far — my family ,friends ,coaches, my club, my sponsors, my church and all the people who believe in what I’m trying to do.
i thank God for giving me the strength.
My gratitude is beyond.
Let’s build each other up.
Let’s bring light out of the dark.
This fight means everything to me. ❤️
Have you got the heart ?

Within honorable victory upholds the choreography of scars.
Boxing is the art of endurance.
