Hello everyone. We are looking for support as we find ourselves in need of a wheelchair van for Milo.
Milo has CP, he is 13 years old now and has outgrown a way to be safely seated in a typical van. He was using a special needs car seat but is much too tall now for this to be safe as his neck and head are completely unsupported. He is in need of a modified wheelchair van so we can take him out for doctor visits and the various outings he loves so much. We are on a limited income and wheelchair vans are very expensive.
Milo’s world has been quite limited since we’ve all been dealing with the virus and since outgrowing his car seat we no longer have a way to go for rides and going to appointments has become very difficult. Milo is adventurous and has a love of new experiences.
Any amount you can offer us would be a great help. You will have a part in making Milo’s life safer and more comfortable as we try to make his life involved and give him a wider view of the world.
