We’re on an adventure to grow our family!
With love in our hearts and our trust in Jesus, we’re starting the process of adopting a baby. It’s been a long and at times painful journey, but we believe fully that we’re called to take a leap of faith to start our family.
Our Story:
We’ve battled infertility for four years. With each new month of disappointment, our hopeful spirits started to break. For years, we’ve pleaded with God to grant us the desires of our hearts. What we couldn’t see is that He was orchestrating just that; but not in the way we expected.
While exploring recommended fertility options over the last year, adoption overwhelmingly landed on both our hearts. It is undeniable that this is what our path is supposed to be. He’s writing the story, and our hearts are full of love to give! Adoption is our plan A, not a backup or fallback plan. This was confirmed in a painful way.
In January, we took a pregnancy test, and it was positive. Then we took 3 more. Same result. It goes without saying: we rode an emotional high, dreaming and planning a future for our miracle baby. At our first doctor appointment, we learned that the pregnancy wasn't viable. After more than 3 years of infertility, the heartache that followed this news was devastating, and our hearts are still mending.
But what we learned along the way is that adoption is still our hearts' desire. For the time that we knew of our pregnancy, we both still felt called to adopt a child. We'll never understand why our process has been so painful, but we do know without any doubt that adoption is our next step - and we're excited to love and chase our baby through the journey!

The adoption process is daunting, and it’s one we know we can’t take on alone. We’d love your support in a few areas:
Prayer and Encouragement.
The next 6-12 months will be a rollercoaster for us. We believe fully that we’re called to this, but we also fully expect the journey to be taxing; one filled with challenges and emotions. Would you commit to pray for and encourage us regularly?
Financially.
Our adoption will cost around $50,000 - $55,000. There’s no way we can do this on our own, but we trust that God will provide, and that He’ll use our family and friends to help.
Cost breakdown:
Home Study - $3,000
Adoption consultant and required fees - $4,000
Agency fees (includes birth mom expenses) - up to $43,000
Travel (multiple trips) - $1,000 - $3,000
Legal and finalization fees - $1,000 - $3,000
