Hi my name is Chris Crabtree.
I have been a musician through most of my life and have been on the west coast, in Vancouver for the past 11 years.
A few years ago, I reconnected with a beautiful woman who I went to high school with, and fell deeply in love with each other. The only thing is, she is still in Ottawa and I am in Vancouver.
Sheri Coyle and I are now engaged and want to be together everyday.
We haven't seen each other since January 2nd, 2025. We greatly miss each other and want to start planning our lives together.
The cost of living here in Vancouver is so inhibitive to do much of anything. So after us talking it over, I voluntarily said that I will to return to Ottawa, to be with the woman that I love, asap.
I have a miniRV on hold for , that will bring myself and all of my screenprinting and heat pressing equipment that I have invested in.
But have been unable to get any extra funding with a second job due to being on WorksafeBC after being hit by a forklift in early August.

These funds will be going to 6 new winter tires, getting all electric working right for a fall/early winter trip across the country, sealing windows and doors, a few minor repairs, and a full tune-up to make sure it will make the trip, (and beyond), getting the vehicle registered, safetied, and insured. Anything remaining is helping towards the gasoline for the trip from Vancouver to Ottawa.

Once there, the RV will be used for Sheri and I to have mobile production of hats/shirts, etc., with the heat press and screenprinting. As well as for helping smaller bands do their first tours, by giving them a place to sleep, as well as the vehicle with room for gear, a washroom, and a kitchenette.
I am hoping to leave in 3 to 4 weeks, which is feasible, if I can get the funding together.
I want to be with my fiancee. She really needs me to be there with her.
This is of the highest priority for me. Sheri is too important to me, to have her waiting any longer than is necessary.
I hope to be with my fiancee on Halloween this year. If not, then hopefully for my 51st birthday on November 11.
I hope that my story of getting back to Sheri is something that speaks positively to everyone. I never thought that I would fall in love, let alone with a woman so far away, but never has happened.

Thank-you for reading my tale and for whatever help that you can offer.
