Relief Operations for Typhoon Vamco

As many of you may have seen in the news or social media, Typhoon Vamco (also known as Typhoon Ulysses locally) has recently struck the Philippines, just less than two weeks after the devastating aftermath caused by Super Typhoon Rolly (referred to as Typhoon Goni internationally). The storm has caused flooding in different areas of Luzon and disrupted the lives of millions of people.

We at UBC Kababayan: Filipino Students' Association are collecting donations for relief operations that will support our "kababayan" (kababayan means "fellow Filipino, countryman") in the Philippines.

In order to make this a possibility, we need all the help and support! If you are able, please consider donating to this cause, or you can also help by sharing this initiative to your social media accounts, your friends, family, and/or loved ones. 

All proceeds will go to the following organizations and proofs will be provided once we have completed the donation.

● PEMBARYA PH (Clean water, blankets, and shelter materials for victims in Marikina) 
● TEAM ALBAY YOUTH ORGANIZATION (Construction materials for rebuilding homes in Albay, Bicol) 
● ACCORD, INC. (Transportation and logistical support for affected families)
