We’re Finally Together—Thank You From the Bottom of Our Hearts

Last month, we shared our story—of heartbreak, separation, and the unknown. Today, we are so grateful to share that our family is finally reunited here in Mexico. The journey hasn’t been easy, but being together again brings us peace and strength.

We are still adjusting to our new life. We had to leave almost everything behind and are living out of the suitcases we traveled with. At the moment, we don’t even have shelves or drawers for our clothes—but we have each other, and that’s what matters most.

Thanks to your donations, we are working toward securing dual citizenship for our children and my temporary residency visa, which will allow us to stay here legally while we wait for a possible pathway for Val to return with us to the U.S. someday.
