Valmonte Early Learning Academy Garden Beds

My name is Mason Jones,

I am a Palos Verdes High School Senior and member of the community. I am a Boy Scout holding a “Life” ranking for Troop 257 of Palos Verdes Estates. I am currently working on acquiring my Eagle Scout rank. For that, the project I have chosen involves replacing garden beds for VELA, Valmonte Early Learning Academy. In doing this I know that the kids and the school will be able to use them for many years to come. I believe that the garden is very important for the kids so that they can learn about growing different types of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The current garden beds are decaying and in order for the garden to thrive they will need to be replaced. My Eagle Scout team will be in charge of extracting the old beds and building the new ones. Buying the wood and other materials for the garden bed is very expensive and I’ll need to raise money to meet my goal. It would make a huge difference if everyone can support this project by donating a what you can. Any Amount will be helpful - no donation is too small.
