Snackpack is a Schooltrition program of the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf and is a partnership between the food shelf, schools, parent volunteers and community organizations united on behalf of food insecure students in our district. 

The snackpack program is designed to bridge the weekend meal gaps of these students by providing them with a weekend’s worth of kid friendly meals and snacks each week, as well as connecting their families to the food shelf where the entire family will receive food and referrals to other resources on a regular basis. 

The Snackpack Program reduces the negative impacts of hunger so children are ready to learn in school and succeed in life.  This past year, 381 of district students received snackpacks each week and hundreds more received additional Smartsnacks during the school day.
