Val B needs our help after a devastating fire

Dear Mugi Community,

One of our dearest members, Val B has suffered a tragic event in her life. The apartment building she lives in was the site of the terrible fire last Friday and she is currently living in a hotel provided by the red Cross. Fortunately she was not at home at the time of the fire and she is physically unharmed. However, she has not been able to get back to her place to retrieve any personal items beside for her medication and a couple of photographs. As of today she does not know when and if she will be able to return to her home as the building is very damaged from the fire, and provided that she lived in the ground floor the water damage is like to have been extensive.

I am reaching out to our community to help her get back on her feet and keep her safe and out of the shelter which may be where they will take her and the people who have no other place or any relatives or friends they can stay with until the future of the building is determined.

I hope we can come together and help her.
