Hi, I’m Mackenzie, and I’m reaching out to support a cause that affects us all: mental health and suicide prevention through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Recently, I lost my Uncle Michael at age 53 to suicide and it has had a big impact on me and my family. My family and I created a tradition of attending the Community Walks organized by the AFSP. I want to help prevent other people from going through losing someone to suicide. At my high school, I started a Mental Health Awareness Club and we raised $700 for the AFSP by selling stickers! Every day, countless individuals struggle with feelings of hopelessness, and AFSP is committed to changing that narrative. Together, we can foster a culture that promotes understanding and care.
Your contributions will help AFSP continue its vital work, including:
- Funding scientific research that leads to innovative solutions for preventing suicide.
- Educating the public about mental health and supporting survivors of suicide loss.
Please join me in making a difference. Every donation, no matter how small, contributes to saving lives and bringing hope. Let’s create a brighter future together!
