Support the Ottawa Abortion Doula Collective

The Ottawa Abortion Doula Collective is a group of pro-choice, feminist volunteers who support people in Ottawa and the surrounding area through their abortions. Our services are non-judgemental, compassionate, inclusive and free.

We do this work because the stigma around abortion is real (and it sucks) — and many people aren’t comfortable asking family or friends for a ride or for their help throughout the abortion process. But people seeking abortions deserve support, and we want to make sure they get it.

All donations go towards covering the costs of gas and taxi fare (to get people to and from appointments), parking, care packages, printing costs and other miscellaneous expenses.

We are a small grassroots collective that works informally. As we do not have a bank account, donations will be withdrawn into the personal account of the group's treasurer.

We provide these services as volunteers. Funds will be used strictly for expenses incurred providing abortion doula support. This includes: gas money, parking fees, care package supplies, printing costs, taxi fare, and other miscellaneous expenses.
