Medical Mission Haiti Sept 2015

Hello beautiful humans!
This page is set up to make it easier to donate directly to the Haiti Medical Mission trip as a second option to donating directly to the Sun Valley Church website. Remember all monies donated ARE tax deductible.
These medical mission trips are designed to bring medications, medical equiptment and medical treatment to the people Haiti.
We will fly into Cap Hatien and then travel to a smaller village outside of the larger city where there is a church and a small community that has set up a free clinic for all who would like medical attention.
The medical and nonmedical team that is going this September consists of RN's MD's NP's and other nonmedical members. We enter the clinic inventory their supplies and medications then restock their medications with what we can fit in our carry on's and let me tell you they sure get heavy. We then start treating the locals day 3. We consistently see over 100 patients each day. They are long laborous days but rewarding. We also go to the prison and treat prisoners that do not have access to medical attention. This is one of the more trying and emotional days.
It is simply an amazing experience, the people are so thankful and so appreciative that it warms your heart instantly. We also take candies, clothes and flipflops and hand them out the the children as the majority do not have shoes or clothing.
Please consider sponsoring this event. I will need half the funds raised by July 1st and the final half by August 1st. We purchase airfare, medications and supplies by that time and we use every cent that is donated to purchase those items.
