Hello, my name is Regina Fenn. Recently, my husband of 30 years was diagnosed with Follicular non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in June. He is only 51 years old, and this will be with him his entire life. It will have a pattern of remission and relapse, and because of the cancer and the treatments, it's difficult for him to help me with paying the bills.

Earlier this year, we made a plan to pay off our mortgage of only $13,000. This is the last big debt we had, so he planned to hatch a lot of chickens over the summer to sell in October and use the money to pay off the mortgage. But during the summer, he got weak and then found out it was cancer. During all this, he was too tired to keep up with the chickens, and as a result, predators killed a third of his flock.

He is now so discouraged with our snow cone business sales being down this year and the loss of the chickens, and he doesn't have the strength to start over. That's why I'm pleading for help. My husband needs to know that we will be able to make it through the upcoming slow winter months and we won't be bogged down with this almost $600 a month bill.
