This GoFundMe is for Barbara Lipari, an extraordinary woman who has been a pillar of strength and a second mother to many. You would never have known, with her immense vigor for life and people, that she has struggled with debilitating auto immune conditions her whole life. Years ago, Barbara bravely overcame cancer and looked forward to a peaceful retirement in Florida. Unfortunately, her journey took an unexpected and difficult turn when she began experiencing blurred vision and flashes in her eyes. After medical evaluation, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that had spread to her brain and lymph nodes.

Barbara is now courageously battling this aggressive illness while also caring for her husband, Joseph, who has Parkinson’s disease. She has endured 47 surgeries, just finished tumor removal surgery in her brain and is currently undergoing radiation therapy. Despite these challenges, she remains strong and selfless—always putting others before herself.
