My name is Fred Dauphin and I am the current EA at PA Phi. 1085 needs your help.
Today, we are launching a campaign to help 1085 and PA Phi last another 100 years.
Over the past several years, damage has been done to our house that now needs to be fixed. The University has fined us $15,000 for repairs. The damages have come over the past several years and are not from any specific single incident. The payment is due on October 11th. If our fine is not paid on time, we will not be able to resign our lease.
To put it simply, if we do not raise $15,000 this week (by Friday October 11th), we will lose the house.
In addition, given advice from several alumni that I have spoken with this week at our centennial event, we believe it is in the best interest of PA Phi to create a fund that can be managed by our alumni advisors and our alumni board. Any money we raise past $15,000 will go to this fund. The fund will only be used for approved house projects or emergencies. It will be carefully managed by a board of alumni advisors (not by actives).
Our brotherhood is stronger than I can comprehend. We need $15,000 urgently. I know it's not a small amount of money. All I ask is that you give what you can. Please share this link on your social media and directly with any and all brothers of PA Phi.
