Hard Times But Not Alone

Hi friends,

My name is Rakan, also known as RAKANS, a watermelon artist currently based in Germany. Many of you know me from my community work in music. I never imagined I would need to ask for help again, but my circumstances have worsened, leaving me with no other choice.

Despite applying for over 50 jobs in recent months, I haven’t been able to secure stable work. On top of this, the cancellations of gigs and opportunities have severely impacted my income, and the political and economic situation is only tightening its grip. Without immediate support, I face losing my home and being unable to cover my basic needs.

To stabilize my situation and move forward, I urgently need to raise €5000. This amount would allow me to cover the following:

• €2000 for renewing my residency papers, a critical step in maintaining my legal stay in Germany.

• €1500 for overdue heat and water fees for the year.

• €1500 for rental debt to ensure I can keep my home.

I know these are challenging times for many of us, and it deeply pains me to ask for help from the community again. But I have exhausted all other options, and I cannot bridge this gap on my own. If 500 generous individuals contributed just €10 each, I could reach this goal and focus on rebuilding my life and career.
