Hi all!
I am here asking for help for a close friend of mine. Given the severity of the abuse and current situation, Im not able to get into the specifics of the abuses she suffered. Just that they existed on every level - mental, physical, verbal, emotional, and even financial. It was finally with the help and support of her loving family and friends that she sought the professional help she needed. After working through "battered woman syndrome" as her therapist diagnosed it. She is finally free, and now fighting for the safety of her child.
She is a single mother who found the courage to get out of her abusive relationship. Unfortunately the many court proceedings that followed and still carry on to this day, has left her in a financial situation that is not going in a good direction for the two of them. She has already spent all of her savings and then some. She is not one to accept financial aid of any kind normally. In fact it took me months to convince her to let me post this. This is solely to assist her in paying attorney fees, past and present. She works 2 jobs right now & is raising her child on her own. I have high hopes we can help her and her child!
Any bit helps whether it be $1 or just spreading the word. Let's band together and help this beautiful soul keep her precious child safe!
