Hello,
My name is Tyler de Leeuw. I have been a part of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) for 4 years. I am currently a Life Scout in Troop 107 located in Corona, California, and am working toward the final and highest rank of Eagle Scout.
My project will take place at Citrus Hill Intermediate School also located in Corona, California. For my project, I plan to convert the Citrus Hills Jazz Band room into a fully functioning recording studio, equipped with mixing board, computer, recording software, 16 microphones and stands, 3 direct inputs, 2 monitors, recording indicator light, and a playback system.
With your help, I will be able to reach my budget of almost $4,000 of equipment and other materials. Your donation will go toward the strengthening of Citrus Hill’s music program, and will give young and aspiring musicians the opportunity to experience recording sessions for personal auditions, honor band entries and applications to prestigious venues such as Disneyland, and music festivals all over California.
I chose this project because I am an alumni of Citrus Hills and the band program they have. I would consider it a privilege to give back to the program that taught me the values of creativity, dedication, teamwork, and freedom of expression. These values have guided me to strive for success and be a productive member of our society.
