My name is Asra, and I am the sister of Hafsah — a kind, gentle, and deeply spiritual 13-year-old girl who has recently suffered a serious brain bleed and is now in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Hafsah is the youngest of six siblings and has always been the light of our home — soft-hearted, patient, devoted to her deen, and regular in her prayers (namaz). Seeing her in this condition is heartbreaking for us, and as a family, we are turning to both prayer and sadaqah to support her healing. We are raising funds to build water wells in Hafsah’s name, so that she may continue to earn rewards for every person who benefits from them. As Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)
We pray that through this ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), Hafsah receives blessings, healing, and ease. Please keep her in your du’as and help us honour her pure and caring soul through this meaningful cause.
