Hello, we are University of Warwick Boat Club and we are raising money for Helping Hands, a charity based in Leamington Spa that supports people in the community facing homelessness, poverty and hardship

A team of 5 of us from UWBC are volunteering at Helping Hands this April, doing a soup kitchen dinner service, helping those in our local community. Helping Hands cater for 50 people per evening soup kitchen, serving over 7900 meals a year. Their overhead costs are high with it costing £6.86 per meal. We are aiming to raise £180 to help support the charity, and ensure they can keep providing the incredible service to those who most need it in our community.

On the 20th April UWBC is running a Charity Movie Night in order to fundraise, with tickets at £4 per person (more info on our social media.) For those who are attending and wish to pay in advance, you can do so here. Or, for those who can't attend/ friends or family who would like to support our event and Helping Hands we would greatly appreciate a donation.
