Helping Norman..

My name is Ben, I have YouTube channel where I give people a helping hand. I met Norman several weeks ago and he accepted my help, since then me, my dad, uncle Paul and kind volunteers have been transforming his property.

With mostly just man power and trips to the dump we have made a massive difference but we just keep uncovering issues, which may be okay during Summer. These issues during winter such as rotten windows frames and large holes in them too. Guttering not doing it's just contributing to severe leaks which are causing damp and mould in the property.

I just would like to get companies in to tackle these problems and get Norman set for winter, Take a look at the video to see what we have done so far and what we still have left to go.

Phase 1 - Replacing all the rotting window and frames at the side & front of the property. (£5600 for material and free fitting) ✅

Phase 2 - Rendering and painting the exterior of the house. (£8500 worst case scenario, removing the existing and replacing with new and painted) work currently taking place! ✅

Phase 3 - New Guttering/Fascia boards. (£2300 Take down exisitng, replace with new UPVC.)✅

Phase 4 - Sorting the side & patio out, too many trip hazards and cracks, coming up with some plans!

Phase 5 - The inside of the house. (Don't want to get ahead of myself just yet)

Why is this important to me? I feel Norman has been forgotten about and has just got custom to living in them conditions, he's 76 years old and like everyone had some tough times! He looked after both his parents and was their carer for years, so now it's his turn for a little help. I plan to film the whole process being transparent as possible showing exactly what has been spent on materials, contractors etc.
