My name is Catherine. This is a very vulnerable thing for me to do, but I am doing it as a mother. My family and I are currently experiencing homelessness. We have been battling with the state to get some sort of emergency shelter assistance so we don't have to be on the street. We have been living in hotels that have been paid for by us, my son's football team, and a local church. We have been fed. We are so grateful. But those resources are exhausted. It is extremely hard to watch the happiest person in your life continue to be happy during times of chaos. My son, Elijah is kind, sweet, loving, caring, and loved by all who meet him. He's smart, and a pleasure to have for a son. Truly my greatest joy. I feel like I have failed him. I am asking for help. I am asking that whoever can help, please do. I am still fighting to find a stable place for us. But it is extremely hard. I know that it is hard for everyone. I have difficulties as well. Physical health issues as well as mental health.
