Yesterday morning, my sister woke up to every homeowner’s nightmare her basement completely flooded and destroyed. What should have been an ordinary morning turned into chaos, damage and heartbreak in a matter of moments.

To make things even harder, her home insurance has refused to help, stating the damage was caused by a sewage backup. This has left my sister and her husband facing overwhelming cleanup, repairs, and replacement costs entirely on their own. The financial burden is enormous and the stress of trying to fix their home while managing everyday life is taking a heavy toll.
