Transforming a space from a youth room to living quarters!

In May 2019 First Congregational Church of Ithaca voted overwhelmingly to become a Sanctuary Church , joining an international movement to support and advocate for vulnerable immigrants.

As part of this new mission, we are undertaking some renovations to our church building in order to safely and comfortably accommodate a sanctuary guest.

Our immediate need: $25,000, for

· Adding security to the building

· Converting part of our youth room into living space and bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet.
