US Veterans Memoir

Every day, heroes of war suffer tragic injuries that affect the rest of their lives. We owe our freedom and our very lives to these brave, unselfish men and women.  I am a 16 year old rising senior at Riverview High School. Through my father - as a former SWAT team commander and Lieutenant of the Sarasota County Sheriffs Office - and his connections, I have been inspired to compose and publish a book for our Veterans. The book will include poems, short stories, and firsthand accounts of the soldiers' experiences.  The Veterans are not recognized nearly enough. I want to help them live better lives and continue to grow stronger as they recover from their time serving our country, our people, you, and me. The money I collect in donations and by selling my book will go directly to the Veterans and their families.  All the help in creating my book would be greatly appreciated by me and our fellow US Veterans.
