Future Social Workers, Real-World Impact
We are Intro to Social Work students turning classroom lessons into real-world change through a partnership with the JD Sheth Foundation. This isn’t just an assignment—it’s our chance to learn directly from a global changemaker, meet JD Sheth himself, and gain hands-on experience in community service.
What Makes This Unique:
We will meet the founder, JD Sheth, and learn from her journey of transforming communities around the world.
We’re getting hands-on experience designing and leading a local service project in Evansville.
We’re showing that even students can make a difference when given the chance.
Why It Matters:
This project is about more than grades—it’s about learning how to serve with compassion, advocate for vulnerable populations, and carry forward the values of social work. By supporting us, you’re investing in the next generation of social workers who will dedicate their careers to building stronger communities.
How Donations Will Be Used:
Supplies and resources for our community service project.
Outreach materials to connect with local residents.
Support for making the project sustainable beyond our class.
Join Us:
Help us prove that students, when given the tools and guidance, can create meaningful change. With your support, we’ll gain mentorship, hands-on skills, and the chance to carry forward the JD Sheth Foundation’s mission of service.
