Liver transplant and relocation to Edmonton.

I have been on the waiting list for 20 months for a cadaver liver. And have had many friends, families and strangers go through the living donor program for me. This new liver will change my life and I will be able to take care of me and my family.

We found out on Aug14 that my MELD score is quite high and to expect a phone call to Edmonton sooner than later. The MELD score is how they determine who is sick and needs to be considered for a liver transplant.

When we travel to Edmonton, we have extra expenses such as travel, food and accommodation.

We are looking to our community of friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers for assistance in raising money for the possible 2 to 3 month stay in Edmonton. Which we estimate it to be about $5,000 per month.
