<div>I have been on the waiting list for 20 months for a cadaver liver. And have had many friends, families and strangers go through the living donor program for me. This new liver will change my life and I will be able to take care of me and my family.

<div>We found out on Aug14 that my MELD  score is quite high and to expect a phone call to Edmonton sooner than later. The MELD score is how they determine who is sick and needs to be considered for a liver transplant.
</div>

<div>When we travel to Edmonton, we have extra expenses such as travel, food and accommodation. 
</div>

</div>
<div>We are looking to our community of friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers for assistance in raising money for the possible 2 to 3 month stay in Edmonton. Which we estimate it to be about $5,000 per month. 
</div>
