Help Me Build a Safe Home and Support My Siblings’ Education
Summary:
I’m a young single mother and the oldest in my family, living with my siblings and our elderly grandmother. Our house is in poor condition, and I’m struggling to provide for everyone after dropping out of college to care for them. I’m asking for your kind support to help us build a better home and pay my siblings’ school fees come January, so they can continue their education and we can live safely and with dignity.
Our Story
Hello everyone,
My name is Gloria Mumo, and I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart. I’m the oldest in my family, and life has been a tough journey for us. We live with my aging grandmother, who has done her best to care for us, but our home is old, cramped, and falling apart. Each day brings new challenges, and I worry about how much longer we can keep living in these conditions.
I had to drop out of college to take care of my siblings and grandmother when life became too hard. Without academic papers, finding a stable job has been almost impossible. I do what I can each day to make sure my family has food and shelter, but with the rising cost of living, things have become even more difficult.
I’m also a single mother, trying my best to give my child love and stability while supporting everyone else. It breaks my heart to see my siblings’ dreams fading because I can’t afford their school fees. As the new school term approaches in January, I’m deeply worried that they might not be able to continue their education.
My dream is simple — to build a safe, comfortable home for my family and make sure my siblings can stay in school. I want them to have the opportunities I couldn’t.
Your kindness, prayers, and donations will help us rebuild our home and give my siblings a chance at a brighter future. No amount is too small — every contribution brings us one step closer to hope, safety, and peace of mind.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story, for caring, and for sharing. Your love and support mean more than words can express.
With deep gratitude,
Gloria Mumo
