Hi my name is Ami (aka Badger Queen),

A group of us have formed The Rainbow Sanctuary Movement to lobby the Canadian government to address the needs of vulnerable people that are part of the U.S. LGBTQIA+ community to find safe haven in Canada. This includes a call to the Canadian government to amend the Safe Third Country Agreement with the United States.

Please see the update provided below for what our group has accomplished to date.

We are currently raising funds to support a Queer AFAB American in dire need of Immigrating to Canada as soon as possible for safety and to be with their partner who lives in Canada. Neither of them have the financial means to do this alone.

Everyone in our group knows both individuals and are in constant contact to ensure that they receive the support they need, but we can’t do it without your help!
