Help our beloved daughter/sister Melissa Rebuild After Losing Her Home in Hurricane Melissa (Black River, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica)

My name is Jack, and today I am humbly asking for your help on behalf of my daughter and her family in Black River, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, who have lost everything after Hurricane Melissa tore through the island.

Hurricane Melissa made direct impact on their community with violent winds and catastrophic flooding. Within minutes, the storm ripped the entire roof off their home. Everything inside—furniture, clothing, appliances, beds, documents—was destroyed or washed away. As you can see in the photos, the structure is completely exposed. The rain soaked every room, the walls collapsed, the ceilings caved in, and debris now covers what used to be their safe space.

My daughter and her family barely escaped with their lives.

They now have no home, no belongings, and nowhere to return to.

What They Need Help With
