<div>Hurricane Melissa made direct impact on their community with violent winds and catastrophic flooding. Within minutes, the storm ripped the entire roof off their home. Everything inside—furniture, clothing, appliances, beds, documents—was destroyed or washed away. As you can see in the photos, the structure is completely exposed. The rain soaked every room, the walls collapsed, the ceilings caved in, and debris now covers what used to be their safe space.
