Due to the financial strain the chapter is facing, it is with a heavy heart I have to announce that Cassi cannot be employed or retained this semester. Cassi, Greg, and Virginia have been an institution within the chapter, and they are a part of many of the best memories I’ve had here. Simply put, the Schaffers are family – to me, to the chapter, and to many, many others.
 
While the chapter cannot support them during these difficult times, we as friends can. We’re putting together this fundraiser to support the Schaffer family, to keep them stable until Cassi can return to 1063 or find a new job. Please join me in returning all the generosity and support that she and Greg have shown us over the years.
