My name is Savanna and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my grandmother, Donna. She is currently in urgent need of having three huge trees removed in her backyard, in order to ensure her safety and avoid further damages to her house.

In June of 2024, she experienced devastating damages to her house from a big tree limb during a wind storm, that are still not resolved with the insurance company. Last month, more big limbs broke off the trees in another wind storm, causing property damage to both of her neighbor’s fences. One of the trees now has a huge limb that is leaning, due to the pressure of the weight of it. This limb is in imminent danger of breaking off and falling directly onto her home, which would cause tremendous damage. She was told it could break off at any time, even without a severe thunderstorm with high wind gusts, and that she should not stay in the home during any storms. She was scheduled to have remediation work done to her home next week after a camper was to be delivered this weekend. Friends had offered their camper so she would have a place to live nearby while continuing to recover from nine months with long Covid, to make it easier for her to check on the air scrubber fans in the house for several days after the contractors were done their work. Due to the serious threat to her home and physical safety, that work and the camper’s delivery have been postponed in order to keep the driveway open to allow the equipment with a bucket to have access to the yard to safely remove the trees as quickly as possible.

Time is of the essence to remove the trees due to their deteriorating condition. The total cost to remove the 3 damaged trees, and to move the shed out of the way to allow the equipment to be used for the tree removal will be $9500. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
