Urgent Surgery for Viviana's Rare Cancer

Hi Everyone, my name is Veronica Ariza and I have created this gofund me to try to help my cousin Vivi. Viviana is 32 years old and a single mom of a 15 year old. She lives in Ecuador & she was sadly diagnosed with Cancer, her type of Cancer is called Chondrosarcoma, its a disease that starts in her pelvis and spreads to her liver and lungs. This is an aggressive disease that does not typically respond to Chemotherapy or Radiation therapy. It is a life-threatening disease that needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible, time is of the essence with this type of cartilaginous /soft tissue cancer. My purpose is to be able to raise enough money to try to get her here to the states and have her surgery here. This is an intense surgery, and the recovery takes several months with out complications. If complications arise, the recovery time could be longer. This is a long procedure that will require several months of recovery. It is removing her left leg upto her hip joint. This is a very long procedure that require many months of recuperation and of rehabilitation, afyer this she would need a prosthetic leg, but this can take several months. During this time, she will likely be utilizing a wheelchair to get around or a walker once she regains her strength. This entire surgery and procedure is expensive, very expensive. This is why I am begging everyone to contribute with as little as you can please!!!! Please help me spread the gofundme of my cousin please!

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Verónica Ariza y he creado esta página de donación para poder ayudar a mi prima Vivi. Viviana tiene 32 años de edad y es una madre soltera de un hijo de 15 años, ella vive en Ecuador y fue tristemente diagnosticada con cáncer, el tipo de cáncer que tiene se llama condrosarcoma, que comienza en la pelvis y se esparce a sus pulmones e hígado.

Está es una enfermedad muy agresiva que no normalmente responde a radioterapia o quimioterapia. Es una enfermedad de vida o muerte que quirúrgicamente tiene que ser removida lo más pronto posible, mi propósito es de poder recaudar fondos para poder traerla aquí a los Estados Unidos para que se pueda realizar su cirugía.

Está es una cirugía muy intensa y la recuperación puede ser de varios meses si esque no hay complicaciones, el tipo de cirugía es una amputación de la cadera y pierna izquierda, un procedimiento muy largo que requiere de muchos meses de recuperación y rehabilitación y después de este proceso necesitaría una prótesis pero esto puede requerir muchos meses, durante este tiempo ella va a utilizar una silla de ruedas o una caminadora especial para recuperar su movilidad y fuerza muscular, esta cirugía y el procedimiento es demasiado costoso por eso recurro ante su bondad y generosidad, cualquier granito de arena será muy bienvenido, por favor ayudarme a difundir esta página de donación de mi prima.
