Urgent Support Needed for Hope Haven

My name is Hailey Powell, and I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with Hope Haven Belize as a dance instructor. Hope Haven is more than just a shelter; it’s a home that provides 24/7 care for children between the ages of 0 and 18 who have been removed from their parents or guardians due to severe physical abuse, sexual violence, or continuous neglect. Currently, 14 incredible girls call Hope Haven their home, relying on the organization for medical care, mental health support, education, and the love and guidance they need to heal.

Hope Haven needs our help to continue operating. This fundraiser is critical to ensuring these girls have a safe place to call home. Monthly expenses include rent, utility bills, school tuition, mental health services, dental and medical bills, caregiver salaries, groceries, water, office supplies, school lunches, and school snacks. These essential costs allow Hope Haven to provide the safety, stability, and care these children desperately need.
