My name is Aawa, and I am reaching out during one of the most difficult times my family has ever faced. Recently, our home was destroyed in a fire, leaving my kids and me without a place to call our own.

In a matter of moments, we lost not only our shelter but also the comfort and security that comes with having a safe place for my children. The days since have been overwhelming as we process everything and figure out our next steps.

Right now, our most urgent needs are finding temporary shelter, securing food, and replacing basic clothing and hygiene products for my kids and myself. We are also facing moving costs and the challenge of saving for a deposit on a new apartment so we can begin to rebuild our lives. Every bit of support will go directly toward helping us meet these essential needs and giving my children a sense of stability again.
