Support 2 Homeless Native Elders in Obtaining Some Stability

We are fundraising on behalf of our friends Brooke & Jesus to acquire a camper van for them so they can get off the streets until they can find housing. This need is urgent as they are in constant threat of being swept.

Brooke & Jesus are beloved members of the community who go out of their way to feed their neighbors and support the larger community. We're asking for 6.5k to get a reliable van for them and an additional $500 for living support. The van will provide a more stealth living situation vs. the non operable RV they are currently stuck in. This will give them more options of where to park to sleep and being able to move when necessary, while also providing a daily driver for health appointments, jobs, schooling, etc. It will also give them a chance to have a reliable vehicle to visit their children & grandchildren. The funds are theirs to choose what to do with if more pressing needs arise. We ask that you value their autonomy in survival by respecting this.
