Fund Gaza Family's Journey to Safety

Donation protected
I had 25 family member, only 6 of them remain. Please help them get to safety.

On the 14th October, 20 my family were displaced from north/centre Gaza to reach Rafah in order to get to safety during the war on the Gaza Strip. These members include:
My father, my mother, my brothers, their wives & their children, my sister & her husband, his family and my aunts.

A month later, on the 14th of November, Me and my wife including my children, Arwa 5 years old, Karam 4 years old and Ayla the
two-month-old baby, joined them in order to also get to safety.

We were all living in a house with our relatives' family in Rafah. One apartment in which was housing 32 family members. With hopes that the war would end as soon as possible so that we all could return to our homes and live our lives as they were before. However the big shock came on December 14, 2023, when I was at the market and hearing a huge explosion and seeing the dust of the explosion rising near the building we were living at the moment.

In panic I rushed towards the building finding the house to which my family had fled to seeking refuge and safety, had been blown and destroyed over their corpses and the people in it.

That day, I lost both of my mother and father, my sister, my wife and my son & daughters, my brothers' wives & their children and my aunts. They were only 6 survivors who survived that bombing but were left with severe injuries. My older brother Ali, suffered burns to his face, limbs and fractures in his right knee.

My twin brother Muhammad, suffered fractures in his nose & jaw and several injuries to his face.

My nephew had a head injury, which I found him by chance two days after the bombing in the intensive care unit, needing medical and cosmetic follow-up.

After two bitter weeks in the hospital,
experiencing psychological and physical pain, I
was in a state of disbelief, as ifl did not know
what had happened, as if it were a nightmare that I was living until this moment.

Do I cry for those lost, or do I hold on in front of
my injured brothers?

We were discharged from the hospital after
eleven days into the unknown

A friend of ours received us in a room in an old
house where there were 4 other families

We had nothing to sleep on or cover ourselves
with, despite the injuries, pain, and harsh winter weather

Everything is difficult

Even getting a loaf of bread takes effort and
hours of waiting in line at the bakery

Today my brothers and I take care of each other under very harsh conditions. The
war is still going on and there is no safe haven for us

We have lost everything

Therefore, we decided to move from this place in search of safety.

To save the last surviving persons in my family,
have launched this urgent fundraising campaign.

The only current way to escape Gaza safely into Egypt is to pay a fee to Hala an Egyptian agency operating in Rafah.

Every child coasts $3000 every man $12000. Hala's prices are not fixed and have been rising exponentially since the start of the war in October.  This also does not take into
account travel costs, healthcare costs, fees to pay Egyptian officials, emergency food and shelter costs, and any other costs associated with the evacuation. It is a lot to ask, but any help brings us closer to being able to save my family.

For transparency, funds will solely be used for
evacuation costs. They will paid to Hala
Consulting & Tourism the Egyptian company
which runs transportation in and out of Gaza. | will provide updates here on the process. The
donation goal will cover the current Hala fee for
every person, healthcare checks, transportation costs from Rafah to Cairo and a small and short temporary fund for living costs. Any extra donations will be used for resettlement and other evacuation costs.

This is the most difficult thing I went through in
my life , and I wouldn' t wish this experience on
anyone. I believe in humanity, and the spirit of solidarity.
Please keep praying for the people of Palestine
and share this with anyone who can spread the
news or donate. Even the smallest donation will
be deeply appreciated.

That's why we need your help
Don't let us lose what's left of us
Help us survive!
