Urgent Relief for Gaza’s Displaced Families
Donation protected
Since 2023, Gaza has been living through a genocide that has led to one of the most catastrophic humanitarian crises in recent history. Entire neighborhoods have been leveled. Over a million people have been forcibly displaced, and families continue to flee with nothing but the clothes on their backs. In this escalating crisis, we are urgently raising funds to provide direct relief to displaced families inside the Gaza Strip, as well as displaced Gazans who have fled to Egypt and are now living in desperate conditions.
This campaign is an extension of our grassroots mutual aid efforts through our community-led cooperative, which has supported dozens of livelihoods and educational initiatives across Gaza since the war began. The needs have grown exponentially—and we must scale our response to meet them.
How Your Donations Will Help
All funds raised will go directly to families on the ground in Gaza and in Egypt through trusted networks of local organizers and facilitators Your support will help us provide:
- Emergency food parcels for displaced families with no access to markets or aid.
- Clothing for children, women, and the elderly sleeping in tents or open air.
- Medical supplies and basic hygiene kits for those sheltering in hospitals and schools.
- Psychosocial support and educational materials for children suffering trauma and school disruption.
- Cash assistance to mothers, pregnant women, and families with no income.
- Assistance for displaced Gazans in Egypt who are wounded or ill and in urgent need of care.
In Gaza: A Crisis of Starvation and Economic Collapse
Nearly the entire population of Gaza has been pushed into extreme poverty and hunger. Since the beginning of the genocide, over 80% of families have lost their income entirely. Markets are either destroyed or empty, and the few food items that make it through the siege are sold at prices far beyond what most can afford. Parents are skipping meals so their children can eat. Starvation is not looming — it is here. This is why cash assistance and food relief are urgent priorities. Every contribution helps keep a family alive.
Displaced Gazans in Egypt: A Crisis Within a Crisis
Hundreds of Gazans who managed to flee across the border into Egypt are now living in extremely precarious conditions. Most arrived with no belongings, no income, and no support network. Many are critically injured patients, cancer sufferers, or people with chronic illnesses who require constant medical care and medication yet face exorbitant healthcare costs in an unfamiliar system. Others are mothers with children, elderly people, and those living with disabilities who cannot afford housing, food, or basic necessities.
We are currently working with a network of volunteers to deliver cash support, medicines, food, and accompaniment to these families who have been displaced twice—once from their homes, and again into an uncertain exile. They are suffering in silence, overlooked and unaided. We must not forget them.
Why This Work Matters
In the absence of sustained international aid, we are relying on mutual aid: people caring for people. Our cooperative prioritizes support for community-led initiatives that have remained active even under siege. We’ve already provided cash aid to families in need, delivered food and hygiene packages, distributed winter outfits and blankets, and supported tens of livelihoods to help people sustain a living amid impossible conditions. We've also backed educational and recreational initiatives for children in tents and shelters, creating spaces of learning and emotional relief in the midst of devastation. But the need is growing every day—and we must continue expanding our efforts to reach as many people as possible.
Who We Are
We are a grassroots cooperative founded in Gaza, working across borders to deliver urgent mutual aid to families trapped in this war. We are activists, artists, educators and organizers—working directly with trusted individuals in Gaza and Egypt to ensure funds reach the people most in need.
