Help Damion Support His Family in Jamaica

Our cousin Janel and her husband Damion, a hardworking contractor living in Sacramento, are raising their three children, two of whom they brought here from Jamaica. Their hearts and roots, though, are still deeply connected to the family they left behind — the kids’s mother, his mom, cousins and all the extended family — all still living in Lucea Jamaica (Between Montego Bay and Negril).

This week, a devastating disaster hit their area, and communication has been almost impossible. The local airport is now operable--the buildings are damaged but the runway is cleared, power is out, and we don’t yet know the full extent of the damage.

Damion plans to fly to Jamaica on Monday to do whatever he can to reach and help his family.

We’re raising funds to help get essential supplies to his loved ones in Jamaica.
