The Blackfeet Food Pantry has run DRY.

I am raising money to help feed the many people who rely on the food pantry for survival. Earle Heavyrunner is the one who runs it and has shared their need with me.

I am truly thankful for any amount of money we can raise, knowing many others are struggling as well. As a matter of fact, I have directed my family to donate in place of any holiday gifts they planned to give me.

It was a successful trip to Browning last Thursday! We made our first delivery of food to the Blackfeet Food Pantry and it was distributed Monday to 500 families. Thanks to each of you, we were able to purchase the food from the Tribal grocery store at COST! Which also helps sustain jobs for Tribal members. The store donated a pallet of water from their vendor URM. 1,000 bottles. And 1,000 bottles of Powerade from PepsiCo. Food Director and Incendent Commander Earl HeavyRunner worked with the store to develop a family meal package for the 500. Your contributions made the initial down payment of $5,000.00 possible. I say down payment because we are now looking for the next payment. Yes I will continue this campaign as long as there are donors to refill the pantry. I cannot thank each of you enough.
