Lifeline Aid for Saleh AbuShamala’s Family in Gaza Genocide
Donation protected
Today, we relaunch our campaign in the middle of a moment of unbearable crisis. Our home is rubble. Our life as a family has become rubble. For two years, we have been living under genocide and famine, and each day survival becomes harder than the day before.
When we first started this campaign, the goal was evacuation and survival outside of Gaza. That was not possible. But the donations we received became our only support, helping us face the daily catastrophes of life under genocide — food, medicine, and shelter — through the past two years.
Now, the catastrophe has not ended. We are without any clear path to safety, facing crushing financial burdens as heavy as the bombs themselves. Even the most basic needs — water, food, flour, fuel — now require impossible costs.
My father, Kamal, is a heart patient with a pacemaker. He also suffered a stroke and urgently needs medicines and treatments that are only available in rare conditions, at extremely high prices. These are not luxuries — they are basic attempts to keep him alive.
Our reality today is not normal life. It is a daily struggle to survive. This campaign is no longer just about evacuation — it has become a lifeline, keeping us alive in the face of erasure.
