On the morning of July 8th, our lives were turned upside down. Without any warning, ICE officers entered our dad’s home and took him away. Since that moment, our family has been overwhelmed with fear and heartbreak. He has had almost no contact with us, his children, and has been denied a fair opportunity to speak with a lawyer.

Our dad is not just a resident here — this is his home. For over 30 years, he has built his life here, raised five children, and devoted himself to his family and community. Now, he faces the terrifying prospect of being torn away from the only home he has ever known.

The pain we feel is beyond words. His chair at the dinner table remains empty. His voice is absent from our daily lives. Our youngest siblings keep asking when they will see him again. We have no answers — only the determination to bring him back.

He also has serious health conditions that make this situation even more urgent. He depends on vital weekly medical treatments here in the U.S. Without them, his health—and his life—are at serious risk. Deportation would not only separate him from us but could also cost him his life.

This is not about politics. It’s about family, love, and fundamental human rights. Every day that passes is another day stolen from us, another day his future remains uncertain. We are raising funds to hire an immigration lawyer who can fight for his freedom and his right to stay where he belongs — with his children, his loved ones, and his community.
