I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my Aunty, Taiba, who is currently facing the possibility of deportation and needs urgent legal support. Because GoFundMe is not supported in the country she lives in (Turkey), I am organising this fundraiser on her behalf to help cover the costs of lawyers and legal assistance during this incredibly difficult time.

Here is her story:

"Hello everyone. I am facing deportation within 6 days on the 14th of May. I am an Afghan woman and the sole caregiver of my elderly mother.

Returning back home to Afghanistan is not safe for me, and I am struggling emotionally and financially after losing my residency status due to a company's failure to properly complete my work permit transfer process. During this difficult time, I also lost my job.

I urgently need help with legal fees to hire a lawyer and cover basic survival expenses while fighting this case. Any donations or even sharing this fundraiser would mean more than words can express."
