My name is Jacquelynn Crowe. I’ve never done anything like this or asked people for money, but I’ve exhausted all of our options. I know people work hard for the money they have, as do I. I believe with all my heart I’m doing the right thing. I have a lawyer that’s going to fight for us and believes that we can win this. Just a summary of what is happening and why without going into to much detail and writing our whole lives out.

On January 23rd, 2025, at 9:30 am, my fiancé and I got up and ready like normal. We went to leave the house to get coffee; it’s our morning routine. When we stepped out the door and got in our car, ICE came out of our bushes, off the ground, firearms pointed at us, driving through my yard from all directions. Over 15 armed men were in my yard yelling at me to shut up and get my hands in the air while they had my fiancé on the ground. We had no idea what was going on. They took my fiancé into custody and charged him with entering the United States illegally. In 1982, my fiancé was adopted into the United States by two US citizens, one of whom served our country in the United States Army. They went through the process, and Miguel was legally adopted here in the United States. From what we’ve been told. 42 years later, they flagged my fiancé as here illegally. I have found a lawyer that is going to represent us and believes we have a case. Miguel being in custody, I’m losing over $4,000 a month without his income. I have two children and am currently working full-time every day of the week, plus another job. I have no idea what else to do to save my fiancé. I have until Friday to come up with the 5,000 for his lawyer. I just returned to work 3 months ago after being randomly attacked and stabbed by someone on my way to work last September on a travel assignment. I almost lost everything. I cannot mentally or financially afford to do this alone. We have a chance to fix this. I’m begging everyone, please help me. He’s a good man; he works hard. My family, his family, my children and his children all love him and want him here. If you have followed my Facebook you know what’s going on, what we’ve been doing and how hard I’ve been working. And what’s happened to me before this incident occurred. I didn’t want to have to get on here, but I have absolutely no other option to save my fiancé. Please if you cannot donate I’m just asking you pray for us all. God has brought us this far. Please Just keep praying for us. God has answered all our prayers through all this process!

1/13 Due to our go fund me not working out the way we planned. I was only able to come up with $160 on go fund me, then $175 on Venmo which we’re grateful beyond measure for the people that donated to help us with $335 total thus far towards Miguels lawyer. We met with the lawyer and I had to take out a loan for the rest of the retainer fee. The lawyer was paid his $5000 yesterday. Thank God we found a way, and thankful for my family and all they did to make it possible. But our journey is far from over. With the court dates approaching and all the measures were going to have to take to save Miguel we’ve reached more obstacles that are going to cost us more to insure Miguel stays here in the United States. Our attorney went through everything with us and our families yesterday. Due to things way out of his control or knowledge. We’re going to fight this whatever it takes. But I cannot financially, mentally or physically do this alone. If you cannot afford to donate to us for bringing my fiancé home I totally understand but please please I’m asking nearly begging that you pray for us. Im asking that you pray that God can make a way for us to do this. That miguel will find favor with man!!! I have to make a lot of hard decisions on Monday. A lot of which will financially be out of my control. I will keep people updated as much as I can. Please feel free to share. All funds will go directly to Miguel’s Attorney.
